This week’s entry into my song-inspired poem series was inspired by another Tears For Fears song (just like the very first poem in this series, which there is a link to below!): ‘Head Over Heels’. Definitely a completely different mood than last week’s poem, but I hope you enjoy this one!

The Skulking Guardsman
This week, I have got another fantasy poem for you from the collection we’ve been building up across the past few weeks, but this one dances a little closer to the actual project I’m working on which these poems form some of the world-building for (I don’t actually know whether they will be included in the final project or not yet, as an aside, but I hope you’re enjoying them nevertheless!).
Look At A Book: Obsession
This is an interesting one for me – Obsession is the only book I have published under ‘O.T. Leonard’, when I was still quite early into using Oskar as my name, and it’s one of my only romance/love-focused books. It’s also pretty dark, akin to Cicerone, and it’s a fantasy book, which I’ve got a couple of now. So, let’s take a closer look at Obsession today!
Firefly
This week, I’ve got a cute little poem that uses a firefly as a metaphor for love for you – I hope you enjoy it! There’s some similar poetry in Intricacies Inked In Ice if you’d like to check that out, and, of course, don’t forget to go and have a look at my latest novel, The Demon Of Darkenhall Lane, if you haven’t already! But anyway, onto the poem!
A Pastel Love Note
This is just a soft little poem that I’d like to share this week. I’ve been posting a lot of Commute content recently – check it out on this page if you haven’t already – but sometimes it’s nice to just write pretty words and let them become a poem, because poetry can be so beautiful. Anyway, without further ado, here is A Pastel Love Note.
Under The Moon
Maybe it’s because I’m in the middle of writing Reborn Bloodlines, the sequel to Twisted Bloodlines, but I’m feeling quite appreciative of the moon. It’s just inherently magical to me, in the way that it changes form every night, from crescent to full moon and everything in-between, and everything that you see under moonlight seems otherworldly in a rather beautiful yet eerie way. I’ve got a lot of thoughts, in any case, and my thoughts always seem to work themselves into poetry, so here you go!
