Lockdown wasn’t great. I think that’s a sentiment that lots of people can agree with. But it did prompt me to start writing some observational poetry about the world around me, collected in a notebook where I exclusively wrote with a dip pen and ink (black, then blue, then purple) and inspired by daily dog walks, my little hour of freedom every day, and what I saw both in my room and out of my window. Some of these poems can be found on my Allpoetry page, but, if you’d like to see them in print with my accompanying illustrations, you can find the link to buy copies below.

Our Paused World
Genre: Poetry
Immortalised in this poetry anthology are the outlooks of a teenage poet during Britain’s lockdown, inspired by daily dog walks, beloved books and life just outside a bedroom window.
